Privacy policy

Your data is not a raw material. This page explains what information may be collected on this site, why it is used and how to exercise your rights.

Last updated: 29 October 2026. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Data controller

The controller is Laurent SBEGHEN - IFQP, sole trader (SIREN 433 553 245), 44 avenue Maurice Thorez, 13110 Port-de-Bouc, France. Contact: laurent [at] ilfautquonparle.com.

2. Data collected

The contact form may collect:

  • first and last name;
  • work email address;
  • company;
  • phone number, if you choose to provide it;
  • type of need and content of your request.

If you email directly, the information in your message is processed to reply. If you book a meeting, the information you enter in the Cal.com calendar is processed to organise it.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • answering your request and preparing a first conversation, based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request or the legitimate interest in answering enquiries;
  • offering and organising a meeting you requested, based on pre-contractual steps;
  • preventing abuse, bots, spam and security breaches, based on the legitimate interest in securing the site;
  • producing aggregated traffic and performance statistics, based on the legitimate interest in improving the site.

Form submissions never trigger automatic subscription to a mailing list.

4. Recipients and processors

Data is intended for Laurent Sbeghen (Laurent SBEGHEN - IFQP) and, only where necessary, the technical providers in charge of hosting, email or secure form transmission.

Cloudflare provides hosting, anti-spam protection, security, form transmission and audience measurement. Form data is never sold or rented and is not stored in a database by the site.

Cal.com provides meeting booking when you use a booking link.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Cloudflare and Cal.com may process some data in the United States or other countries outside the EEA. Where no adequacy decision applies, such processing must be covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, if needed, supplementary measures. Information on these safeguards is available on request.

6. Retention

Requests are kept as long as needed to handle them, then at most three years after the last exchange. If an engagement follows, retention rules related to the business relationship and invoicing are specified at contracting.

Security logs under the publisher's control are limited to necessary technical data and kept at most 30 days, unless an incident requires longer. Raw Cloudflare Web Analytics data is kept by Cloudflare for seven days before aggregation.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated traffic and performance statistics. It uses no cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors (Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation). Cloudflare acts as a processor under its Customer Data Processing Addendum (DPA): it processes this data only on documented instructions, to provide the service. Transfers outside the EEA are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses provided for in that DPA. On that basis, audience measurement is set up to fall within the CNIL consent exemption. No advertising cookies are set.

8. Turnstile bot protection

Turnstile runs when the contact form is submitted. Cloudflare processes the technical signals strictly needed to detect bots, as a processor to secure the site and as a separate controller when it uses some signals to improve its detection.

9. Cal.com booking

“Free 15-min discovery call” buttons open the Cal.com booking calendar in an embedded window (or a new tab). Nothing from Cal.com loads with our pages: the Cal.com calendar, and any cookies or trackers it may set, only load when you click one of these buttons. No Cal.com script runs on this site itself. What you enter on Cal.com is processed by that service under its own privacy policy (cal.com/privacy).

10. Mandatory or optional fields

Required form fields are needed to answer your request. Phone and company are optional. You can also email directly.

11. Your rights

Depending on your situation, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to certain processing and withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on it. You may also set instructions for your data after your death under French law.

To exercise your rights, email laurent [at] ilfautquonparle.com. Proof of identity may be requested only in case of reasonable doubt. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

12. Security and changes

Appropriate measures limit unauthorised access, loss or alteration of information. This policy may change with the services used; its update date identifies the applicable version.

Nice find. You discovered the easter egg: proof we already have something in common. Let's talk?
